The villas sit high atop Bordeaux Mountain with views so spectacular that some guests never leave the property! But if you do venture out, Cruz Bay (the island’s main town) is about a 25-minute drive away.
Salt Pond Beach — which might secretly be our favorite — is only about 10 minutes away and is also home to the stunning Ram Head Trail. Many of St. John’s famous North Shore beaches are within a 15–25 minute drive.
And when hunger strikes, local favorites in Coral Bay like Skinny Legs and Johnny Lime are just a few minutes down the hill.
2) Do I need to rent a car?
Yes — when staying on the quieter side of Coral Bay, having a car is the best way to explore the island’s incredible beaches, hiking trails, and restaurants. Taxis are available, but primarily from Cruz Bay and should be pre-arranged for trips to and from Coral Bay.
A rental car gives you the freedom to chase the perfect beach, stay for sunset, and discover hidden gems along the way.
3) Do I need 4WD?
The road to paradise is about 8/10 of a mile long. It’s steep, but smoothly paved. With the right momentum, you can make it up with two wheels — but we recommend a 4WD vehicle for easier access to the villas and for exploring some of St. John’s more adventurous and remote corners. Besides, island exploration is half the fun!
4) Is the pool exclusive to guests of Faith Full View?
Yes. The pool and sun deck are reserved exclusively for guests of Faith Full View — your own private oasis surrounded by lush gardens and island breezes.
5) Is there a pool at Grand View?
Grand View does not have its own pool, but if you book both villas together, your entire group (up to six guests) can enjoy access to the pool at Faith Full View.

Yes! Both villas have air-conditioned bedrooms so you can sleep cool and comfortably after a day in the sun. Grand View is air conditioned throughout the entire villa. Many guests, however, love opening the doors and windows to enjoy the refreshing Caribbean trade winds and the peaceful sounds of the island.
7) Do you provide beach gear?
Absolutely — beach days are a big part of the St. John experience! You will have access to beach chairs, towels, and coolers so you can pack up, head out, and spend the day exploring the island’s incredible beaches. Just add sunscreen and a sense of adventure.
8) What happens if there’s a power outage?
Like many Caribbean islands, St. John occasionally experiences power outages. But we’ve got you covered. Both villas are equipped with a robust solar backup system, so essential systems continue running and your vacation can stay blissfully uninterrupted.
